Quality windshield replacement We have had several unfortunate incidences with cracked windshields caused by vandals. We used South Town Glass for quick and easy replacement. They contacted our auto insurance company before the replacement was made and the quote was exactly as stated. Although the replacement took the full day, the car was ready at the end of the day, and we did not have any trouble with any of the replaced windshields. Highly recommend South Town Glass.

There are better options! First, they screwed-up our original order for our new shower door, which put our bathroom being completed by 3 weeks. Then, when they had the glass and came out to install it, they didn't have all the hardware necessary to install it properly. When asked if they would be going to get the missing hardware, the indicated they would if they were paid an hourly rate of $100. Poor customer service. These people are scam artists because they are one of the only companies that sell custom glass in the city... read more

I have used these guys twice, once for my business front door and once for my home (shower door). They have been fantastic, definitely worth the money spent. I actually had them come out to adjust the locking issue on my businesses door....again fantastic service.

awful I called South Town Glass inquiring about window screens. The person I spoke with informed me the window measurements needed to precise due to the frames having a device which lock into the window frames. I then scheduled a appointment a week out for them to measure the window frames. When I arrived a few minutes before the appointment time the person from South Town glass appeared annoyed and despite my (quite unnecessary) apology he said nothing. Professional Service As a cabinetmaker I am always on the lookout for vendors who provide a professional, courteous service to its customers. Southtown has given me prompt and reasonable service over the years that I have been in business for myself and as an employee of several Salem-established construction-related businesses. They offer the best price around and have the product ready in a timely manner.

lousy service Had a broken glass on the front of my house from the ice storm. They came out promptly and measured it then I never heard from them. The guy who measured it said they would have to order the glass and it should be here the following Monday or Tues. I finally called them tuesday and they said it hadn't been ordered yet. The woman said well didn't you get called with a quote. NO I RECEIVED NO CALL. She even verified both the phone numbers I gave her. I will never recommend them to anybody. BAD customer service

Highest Satisfaction South Town recently installed a large number of windows in my home, most of which were custom cut. The end results were exceptional. The care and attention to detail were over and above what one would expect. I highly recommend them to anyone who is fastidious about their own work.

BEWARE The rudest and most disrespectful people I have ever dealt with since I've owned my business. They came out to measure for windows and I am hoping that I never have to see the guy named Darren again. I won't get into to detail the absolute unprofessionalism that I had to deal with but lets just say I would call the police if he ever stepped foot on my property again.
