STHS do better in hiring! Itzel register rep at the Edinburg adult ER dept is the worst employee. I went in with a chest pain diagnosis and she told me to sit down because they had too many people ahead of me. I waited 50 mins sitting in the lobby without her initiating my registration. I asked her for a follow up and she was so rude and then proceeded to give me an incorrect balance to pay. I grabbed my orders and left to the free standing ER on McColl seeking help where I was helped within 4 mins.

Albert the charge nurse made us feel at home in a stressful situation. He was so helpful and we will for sure come back to this hospital because of our experience.

I don't think I'm allowed to say how my visit truly made me feel about myself so instead I'll just say that it was a very miserable experience from a specific male nurse who felt the need to explain to me like I'm 5 that those big letters that say "E M E R G E N C Y" on the building means this place is for real emergencies, when I'm in a panic and trying my best to explain that I don't have any money or insurance, but that I'm also having very uncomfortable pain in my abdomen area after I had a huge snapping sensation in my ... read more

Nurses are awesome super nice lovely service , only problem is that we were stuck in the hallway no rooms available
