I brought one of my rats here to get neutered but didn't make it through the surgery due to complications. The staff was EXTREMELY empathetic, and charged me nothing for the surgery and offered to do a cremation for free, plus a free future visit if I ever had to bring my other rats in. I got a sympathy card in the mail from them today. I've never experienced a more loving and dedicated vet staff anywhere else.
We've been going here for 18 years. Compassionate care every time! No price gouging either. If you want to refuse a service, they don't high pressure like most other vets.
I just had a nightmare experience with my dog Lady. She looked like death all of a sudden so we took her to our vet. After spending 1,000 we had no real answers, only questions. I posted on FB about my dogs condition, almost right away a friend called and said get her to SSAH and Dr Dave will take care of her so an hour later we were there. Dr. Dave looked over the other vets data and came up with an allergic reaction to probably a bee sting. We got her a steroid shot and within a couple hours was improving.
