We chose South Slope Pediatrics as our daughter’s primary care provider over another pediatric practice that is much closer to us, and it’s proven to be a great decision so far! We loved that SSP prioritizes keeping your family with the physician of your choosing, and we have really enjoyed working with Dr. Saksena. Perhaps Dr. Cao has changed after six years, but I still distinctly remember a horrible moment with his bed side manner that I feel compelled to share after having the memory flash back. Our one week old son was rushed to the ER during his one week appointment because his heart was beating too fast to count. ER resolved it after 3 days in PICU and sends us home, but we have to go back to the ER one day later because the same thing happens. This practice is such a wonderful, warm and welcoming place! They are not only great with kids and babies but excellent at communicating with parents. The entire staff is great and really does their best to take special care of every patient.
