My wife had never been here, and I hadn't been here since I was about 3 or 4 when my aunt lived in the neighborhood across the street and would take me when I was visiting her. I had the tenderloin sandwich with curly fries and my wife had the 1/4 cheeseburger with shoestring fries. The food tasted great and the waitresses were very friendly and kept our rootbeers full. We live in KC but anytime we are in in Indiana we make it a definite stop. Their cheese steak hoagie is the best and the service is the best. And th their pie and shakes are unbelievable the best
Stop #6 on my DDD quest. Had the philly cheese steak and a bowl of turtle soup. Both were quite tasty.
Being thatwe are truck drivers, w have been all over the country and eaten atal kinds of restaurant . South side diner is the best by far. The atmosphere, food and staff are top notch!!
Stop #48 of my TripleD stops...great place, takes you back in time and upscale menu to boot! Still with all the staples of old fashion Diner food too...I don't want to steer you wrong. The owner was very friendly as well...he was working the register as we were on the way out.
Stumbled across this Diamond in the rough! HAD to stop. Celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with turtle soup and liverwurst sandwich and pb cup malt! GREAT QUICK SERVICE! super friendly staff! SO many pies and desserts to choose from! LOVE LOVE LOVE the nostalgic decor! Goshen?! We have found our new "date night" place to dine! Well worth our drive from Silver Lake IN!
First time there today! Loved it! I can't believe I have never eaten there before and I only live 30 min away and used to work in Goshen!
I just left from having lunch with my family and we had horrible service! We had to wait 20 minutes for our pies and then they were out of almost every pie there was! My daughter had a grilled cheese and the cheese looked like wax paper and was all oily and greasy! I don't see how they think that's ok to give a 2 year old to eat! I will never be going back there and I will let everyone I know about the bad service!
I had the crab cakes, tasted really good, but not very hot. My husband got the philly, tasted really good, but not a lot of meat. French fries are the bomb!
