Brought my 997 in for the first time today after moving to the area not too long ago. Bill was great. Got my car up and running on the same day. The price is reasonable. Bill used to race Porsches and worked on many of them. Would definitely be my go to shop for my two p cars.
Can’t say enough good things about Bill and the crew over at south shore performace. Everything from general maintenance to major repair, they’re my go to pcar shop. I’ve been a client for about 4+ years now, and will continue.
Bill put the wrong clutch kit in my 1993 Porsche 968. The one he put in had the pressure plate for a 964, not a 968. After bringing back the car 4 times after the initial repair (a half day trip from NYC each way), I finally had the problem diagnosed correctly by another mechanic. Bill would not take responsibility for the mistake and would not replace the incorrect pressure plate, instead becoming combative.
