RecommendedEveryone i dealt with at Chimney Chap was very professional & easy to work with , from the beginning assessment & quote ,to the final clean up ....work done seems excellent & Jim was very pleasant ( & efficient and knowledgeable as well, even in dealing with my "unique" chimney that is more than 250 years old : ). Everyone i dealt with in the office got back to me when promised & made a difficult situation (with no heat & water ) much better !!
Quality finished job, pride in workmanship, great communication throughout the quote to completion. Scott and Ryan arrived as scheduled and left the area spotless. Would highly recommend.

Beware before making an appt in your home with South Shore Fireplace...We made an appt for a "site preview" and were not told that there was a fee for this. We had 3 other fireplace installers in for estimates and to look at the installation site and NONE of them charged a fee. What made it really bad was we were unaware until it was time for the guy to leave and then the hand came out for a check for $109. We had an appointment with Scott at South Shore Fireplace this weekend to choose an insert for our oversized central fireplace. He was so knowledgeable that it took us more than an hour just to go over options and choose the right product. He explained every feature and why it was either good or bad for our space. A had a follow up call today on a fireplace that was done by south shore fireplace service man Jon H****.I found him to be very professional,willing to explain what he was doing and why and when he was done the area was as clean as it was when he started the job.

I bought a really nice regency gas fireplace from South Shore Fireplace and couldn't have been happier with the way they treated me and completed the installation. They were the most attentive and considerate companies I approached which is why I went with them. We couldn't get the time of day from other fireplace stores. South Shore Fireplace installed a gas fireplace in my new home. They were very reliable and friendly. The office staff were very helpful every step of the way with my questions. The install was done on-time with no complications. Both owners were great and knowledgeable. I definitely felt like South Shore Fireplace put me and my business as a top priority.
