This placed should be closed down tbh, my mom went came here in 2019 and they charged her 1,750 because they needed to use some fancy laser and that was the only way and it did nothing. They didn’t even allow me in, my mom barely spoke English. Conniving people.
I have to stop and leave a review for this place because I almost didn’t go here due to the bad reviews but im VERY glad I took a chance. I called to see about an emergency appointment as my jaw was swollen and I was in crazy pain and they were able to take me the same day. Dr. Bowdy and the whole staff was very kind and literally walked me through so much of what they were going to do both pre and mid procedure. The office was sparkly clean by the way!!! Do not recommend. I was taken advantage of in an emergency (toothache). Dr did not use my insurance approval to perform root canal instead charged me $860 plus for a pulp therapy. Now the insurance won’t approve the post and crown. I have to pay an additional $1200 out of pocket. This is not nice, I’ll make sure this gets reported. Taking advantage of the situation by saying he is not comfortable performing a root canal. In addition I was treated poorly and my jaw hurt for 2 weeks due to the rough handling. Had a consultation today, filled out the form to the best of my ability and was interrogated by the dentist in front of my 77year old aunt. Normally I wouldn’t have minded had the matter not been about the part of the form where I had put that I used to drink heavily (I do not anymore). I asked the dentist I would be happy to discuss it in private wherein he then proceeded to not respect my privacy. He also kept encouraging me to answer him as if I still had that struggle. Insurance covered my root canal, but still got charged $275 for decay removal, which is supposed to be apart of root canal. It's what my insurance said.
