I honestly wasnt expecting much but I'm glad I gave this place a shot. The cleaning was thorough and gentle, definately the most comfortable dental visit I've had in years. They even explained what they were doing step by step which helped with my anxiety alot. The front desk was friendly and I didnt wait long at all, maybe five minutes. Only thing I would change is the parking situation, it's a bit tight and I had to circle the block a couple times. Dr. Lau at South Shore Dental is a FANTASTIC dentist. He is thorough and efficient, and his office is well run with great helpful staff. He doesn't push unnecessary procedures and my teeth are doing great under his care. In addition he is just an amazing human, he remembers details about his patients and goes above and beyond to be helpful! I give him my highest recommendation!
Their methods of communication could be better. On my initial visit, they forgot to request that I contact my last dentist and have them send over my last set of x-rays. Mistakes happen. But instead of giving me a call where I could get the message and immediately confirm I had received it and could act on it, they sent an email. I thought the one star review on this place was pretty hilarious and prompted me to write a review because I have never had anything close to a bad experience here. I feel like Dr. Lau addresses my dental concerns in a very professional yet warm and friendly way. I have been here for a little over a year now and have loved every second of it. I really feel like Dr. Lau actually listens to me and what I want out of my teeth.
The dentist matthew lau is a jerk very rude don’t ever try to pick this guy for your next dental appointment he has attitude. South shore dental is a great place but go with different dentist not with this liar dentist.
