This hospital needs to be shut down. There is filthy floors roaches and they don't even sanitize their hands before they wait on the patient. They are rude lazy and have no compassion for their patients. They disregard the feeling of the patient. I wouldn't take my dog to this hospital!!!! SHUT DOWN SOUTH SHORE HOSPITAL!!!! THEY ARE KILLING OFF THEIR OWN KIND!!!!
I'm currently here with my mom in the e.r who has been waiting on a bed upstairs for 24 hours. She faints at home, has a concussion and no appetite and says she feels sick as a dog. Mom is 79 year's old. we are in the process of trying to have her transferred and I'm also gonna report this hospital to The Illinois department of public health come tomorrow!!! If something happens to my mom its gonna be a serious problem
It’s so ghetto, and when I first walked in literally the very first person I spoke to had an attitude . The emergency room admit person wouldn’t even look at me and when she asked me what was wrong I began to tell her and she cut me off and I didn’t even get to finish saying the issue I was having. When she got done checking me in she said go through some door to triage but didn’t even give directions to the door, thank goodness my charge nurse alfreda, my nurse Arturo and my doctor Mitchell were all so nice. This hospital is terrible ‼️
One of the worst hospitals that I've ever visited. I was in the emergency room waiting for my cousin to be seen for chest pain and couldn't believe my eyes and ears. The facility is absolutely filthy with dirt and roaches on the floor. Staff was rude and I ended up taking my cousin to another hospital. It's hard to believe that this hospital is even allowed to stay open.
This hospital isn't worst than Jackson park but they're close. My mother is in clear pain (literally screaming)and the doctor is sitting there with his feet kicked up on the desk. They didn't even know who she was. They had her registered under some random social security number. They we're more concerned about getting her billed than her actual health.
