Completely ridiculous, I’ve been seeing a psychiatrist here for 2 years now, I missed one appointment after having to reschedule after starting a new job, and figuring out my new schedule. ONE appointment and they cut off my prescription, and barred me from future appointments. This psychiatry department is an absolute joke. My boyfriend has been going here for six years, and in that time, he’s had to switch doctors multiple times. He’s tried numerous medications to manage his bipolar disorder and finally found one that works well for him. Recently, he had an appointment where he described his concerns, but Dr. Nwokwor failed to listen, take proper notes, or review his medical history. Not coping very well with a traumatic even that happened over a year ago, being put on numerous different medications with no luck I figured my last chance was therapy. terrible at refills
I've had an exceptional experience here, not sure about the other reviews but I have felt very taken care of here. The team here has worked hard to make sure all my medications are right, and have advocated for me with pharmacies and my insurance. Dr. Ahmed Abdulkadir is an absolute gem and I could not recommend him enough. He is very thorough and compassionate.
