so we just got back from our first stay at Southpoint yesterday. There are definitely pros and cons to the place. Pros: the food was very good., staff very welcoming and friendly, large spacious rooms. Cons: I have to say as a frequent traveler all over,I have stayed in many many hotel rooms, the beds here are the worst in any room I've ever stayed in. Hard as a rock, very uncomfortable and they give you two pillows that are as flat as a pancake. Had to ask for extra pillows. My back even hurt the next day after sleeping on ... read more
South Point is On Point! Recently, I spent two nights at South Point after being impressed by a short visit in January 2021. This "Locals" property has me sold. It has everything from a bowling alley to movie theater all while providing superb customer service. The property from the outside to the inside was both airy and very clean. I began my stay by checking into room #1791 - a Premium View, 2 Queen, non-smoking room. I travel to Las Vegas for business quite frequently and always stay here at the South Point Resort. Great staff, spacious rooms, great dinning and conveniently located off the main Strip.
I’ve stayed several time in the past and loved it. But my most recent visit was so awful that I will never return again!!! The way that the director treated my family was horrible. There was a noise complaint against our family and we were treated like criminals. I have 2 special needs children ASD and I’ve never been treated so horribly in my life at a hotel. Love this place. Rooms are spacious and clean. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Great place off the strip if you have kids. Will definitely be back.on-site movie thater and bowling a plus.
