Dr. Maxka is very knowledgeable and thorough. Very good at what he does.
You can not find a better podiatrist and staff than here. From walking in the door Taylor greets you and Linda takes such professional care and everyone treats you like long lost friends. Then Dr Maxka and his concern for you and his "bedside manner" is the best. If you need orthotics then your blessed with Jeremy. You cannot go wrong.
On October 20th I was admitted into Gettysburg Hospital with a really dead toe. You guessed it, I had gangrene not in one big toe, but both big toes. Dr. Jim Maxka, was willing to take on the smelliest toe of all just so I did not have to go to York Hospital. On Oct 24th @115 pm he took both of my toes. He requested I be on iv antibiotics for 6 weeks as is what I did. I had 2 different strep infections, 2 different staph infections, and 2 different yeast infections in my left big toe.
