I recently planned to move and looked at South Park Tower. Leonardo, the leasing agent, quickly showed me a lovely apartment. I signed a lease before learning that the building was near an emergency room and sirens were frequent. I've been living here for almost 2 years and I would not live anywhere else in the city. Beginning of last month because of my work I thought I was going to move abroad so I signed my surrender agreement. However a moth later unforeseeable circumstances made me stay in the city and I was desperate because I thought I wouldn't be able to stay in my apartment. Although the location, views, and most of the staff are terrific, I would not recommend living at South Park Tower. Often I feel like the Brodsky Organization is no better than renting from a slumlord. The staff does work extremely hard to fix things, but the building is old and things need to be replaced, not fixed. It is very obvious that the very wealthy landlord (Dan Brodsky) who owns this building and donates lots of money to the Arts in NYC does not want to invest the necessary funds to make things right for the peo... read more

Lived here 30 years ago and recently came back. Location and value can't be beat. A visiting friend asked why is the rent so low for what you get. Love the building.

Great place to live however if I were recommending our building 124W 60th I would advise that the walls are very creaky and loud in any amount of wind also the outside of the windows are filthy and haven't been cleaned in a long time. Staff are good and responsive.
