As soon as a "partner" was mentioned, they kicked into full homophobic drive. Despite having special needs kids and needing something immediate, they refused to accept any form of income provided and stated that bc I wasn't married to my... partner (yes that word was greatly emphasized,) they couldn't accept their income even if they were on the lease.
