Worst stay in a mobile home park ever. They turn of the water or electricity without warning. The water or electricity may be off for hours almost all day. Do not complain for they threaten to kick you out. Poor customer service and their comments â??live with or elseâ?? Do not come within 100 feet of this place.
Hello: I have heard some bad things about this park, I never have lived there .....but I know, Hearing that there is a no DOGS allowed policy. well it just says a lot about the Management..... I would never give up my dog Just to Live in a Place like this......I Know a Lot of elderly People who love there Pets and it helps them if they Live alone.. they are there companions. We lived in South Park for a few years. When Jim and Vanetta was managers things went great. Then they retired and Dell (Mr. Dictator) and Jill (Ms. Rude) came in as managers. Things changed over night and not for the better. Dell thinks he is still in the military and everybody has to stand when he comes around and salute "His Highness". I wouldn't succumb to his tactics and rudeness and my wife and I was put on their blacklist. Anything we did was not good enough for them. I wouldn't recommend this park to a dog (which the... read more
This dirty and dangerous park is often visited by local law enforcement. Longtime residents report home invasions and theft. The new management is rude and confrontational forcing residents to flee. The good news is there are many open spaces for white customers over 55.
We stayed in South Park in the summer of 2014 and had a pleasant time, so we made reservations in Feb 2015 to stay again. I called to confirm the reservations 1 week before we arrived and all was 'OK'. Upon arriving, one of the managers asked how old our motorhome was, and I told him it was a '96, and he said, "You can't stay here, your RV is too old!" I said we had reservations, but it didn't matter. Apparently the 'new owners' changed the rules and no one informed us! So if your RV is older than 15 yrs old, don't bother lo... read more
Park nice, MANAGER ISN'T – The park is very nice and quiet and the people are very friendly. However, Vanetta, the manager is very curt and rude to some of the permanent residents. I have witnessed this myself during the month myself and my husband was here as she does it right in front of other residents. Also, she complains about other residents to other residents, which is totally unprofessional. She allows some to keep things on their porch that makes the place look trashy. I would recommend South Park but NOT THE MANAGE... read more
Great for over 55 – Clean, friendly, helpful park. Often full and usually must have reservations. Many full timers and 1/2 timers summer here. Tall shade trees and clean pool. Grandkids welcome (for a while). Loved it for 2 months in 2000. Mobile home park with RV spaces around lovely shaded rec area.
