The receptionist needs to find another job. They were absolutely rude and no help whatsoever multiple times and found nothing wrong with it. Not being able to reply to emails correctly or answer calls when that is your only job is a bit ridiculous. They made the experience way worse than it should be.

Dr Marcus is great but the office overall I have been disappointed with. I constantly call and leave messages with no replies and it’s been more difficult than ever to care for my diabetes due to the lack of response from the office when I call with questions and concerns.

Dr. Marcus has been my physician for at least 10 years. He also sees my 3 adult children. He is an excellent endocrinologist, but also terrific on matters pertaining to general internal medicine. He is incredibly thorough and very accessible. SO FEW doctors answer emails, but he does. He's enthusiastic and cheerful too. Have you ever met a doc who literally thanks you for taking the meds he's prescribed because they are medically necessary? He does that! Dr. Marcus is an incredibly smart and compassionate physician. My mother was diagnosed at the age of 90 with heart failure and kidney failure and she made it to 96 without hospitalization. My wife and I are both patients and our health has never been better. My wife had been in and out of hospitals for several years and was never diagnosed until Dr. Marcus told her she was a type 2 diabetic which explained everything but not one hospital in Bakersfield could figure it out. Thank God for Dr. Marcus.
