I only had an examination there. The dentist was gentle, praised my hygiene, and informed me that I had no cavity under an old filling on a rear molar. This was an amazing experience after having been told I needed extensive hygiene work and a porcelain crown by a 'consultant' at another dental group (cost-$1500) one month before. I'm not going to elaborate on what series of events got me to the South Oceanside Group.
