I wish zero stars was an option. Or even negative. Both the Baldwin and Hempstead facilities are an atrocity. There is no communication amongst any of the employees and the front desk people at both clinics are incredibly rude. The psychiatrist in Hempstead said he was not going to help me and that my appointment with him was useless. His only recommendation to me was to stop all of my medications cold turkey, which is something a person struggling with mental health issues should not be told to do. the abject worst treatment and find you’ll ever get from people being paid to help. don’t expect a secretary to work with you; they prefer to have you do all of the work, and act like everything is your fault, even the smallest thing! been there multiple years too because they’re only good for filling scripts. I’m pretty sure the therapists, the good ones, live in seclusion there and quickly move on. Find another place because this is occupied by the least professional people with the worst attitudes.
