It has been a little over a year since my husband had to go to the hospital with back pain. They ended up admitting him and running some diagnostic tests the following day. They were very meticulous about it and insisted that he be admitted because of the amount of pain that he had in his lower back. They even explained that if he stayed in the hospital that evening, they could help manage the pain with medication instead of sending him home and having to wait until the next day when the pharmacy opened. Stay away from this hospital if possible. So many things wrong, I'll just list: Lack of info prior to scheduled laparoscopic surgery. Post surgery- emergency button on bed not connected, calling out "HELP" for 10 minutes (to no avail) before calling family to help contact medical staff. Leaving patient soiled, and trying to redress with soiled dressings. No info/instruction on discharge day. No explanation regarding after care No supplies (gauze etc) given for aftercare until asked for. Departments not in communication with ... read more
