Do NOT trust this place with implants My experience with South Hills Dental Arts in Sewickley, PA (Dr. Crandall and staff) has been an absolute nightmare. What should have been a straightforward implant process turned into a FOUR-YEAR ordeal with unacceptable results. My implants are badly stained to the point I’m embarrassed to smile. I’ve dealt with cracked plates that left my tongue raw, and the current ones are so rough they constantly irritate my lower lip. Nice place. Everyone's friendly. Its clean. I see Dr. afranko for years now and he moved there. He does great work. Hes nice and kind and cares about his patients. I wont go to anyone else.
Dr. Sofranko Is an excellent dentist! He’s extremely thorough and explains treatment options very well. I am 73 years old and can honestly say that Dr. Sofranko Is the overall best dentist I have ever gone to! I’m sad that he’s retiring but extremely happy for him and his family.
I adore Dr and Mrs Sofranko! Couldn't be happier that they chose to join South Hills Dental in Edgeworth, which is close to home. Because I've had good experiences with everyone, it makes going to the dentist, not so awful. Every step during a procedure is explained, and alternatives are explored. Plus, costs for each step is presented. Thank you!
I came over from Dr. Sofranko's office, and with the dental staff, my experience has been good so far. My issue is with the reception/billing. Despite having insurance on file, we received a very large bill with the statement that no insurance was on file (the breakdown on the bill showed the actual insurance.) When I called in to verify this, the person on the call at reception was unapologetic and rude.
