The shortage of staff, hinders the care received. I am Not impressed.
Now that my dad has died. Some staff that was there was great. They didn't try to sneak his meds in pudding or drink. He pushed a nurse older nurse. Got sent out was gone for over a month then told us he couldn't come back. Stole over 10,000 bucks from us since he lived there not even a month Move in fees. First month first week paid. I am so grateful for South High Senior Living. My mom moved here 8 months ago. She moved here from Kentucky.The decision to move to assisted living was sudden and we have had to navigate a lot of life changes and the staff at South High have made this pleasurable for both of us. I am not responsible for her daily caregiving and we can have quality time together. I visit frequently and have made friends with the residents and staff. The captain of a ship is very important because everything trickles down from the top. Executive Director Marshall truly cares. He is a great human and empathetic listener. I have so much respect for him. Resident Care Director Stephanie jumps through hoops for me. She even drove to our rehab for an evaluation after completing an all night shift. Always pleasant. Marchell is an exceptional ED who genuinely cares about the residents and ensures they are treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. Courtney is always willing to answer any questions and does so with kindness and a welcoming attitude, which truly makes a difference for both residents and families.
