We stayed at South Gladstone Motor Inn as a family of four travelling from South-East Queensland. Unfortunately, the accommodation fell well below what we expected based on the photos and description online. The room was extremely dated, with a strong 1970s feel throughout. The issue wasn't simply that the décor was old — the overall condition of the room suggested that it had not been properly maintained or renovated for many years. A basic old-school motel room that was very clean and comfortable, with nice gardens to wander with the dog. Reminded me of childhood road trips which was lovely! Thank you!
