South Florida orthopaedics and sports medicine are a complete disappointment. I wouldn't give a star. Dr. Husted couldn't get me out of the exam room fast enough. Never going back there. Obviously those who believe South Florida orthopaedics and sports medicine deserves a 4.7 rating did not have an appointment with Daniel S. Husted.
I’ve seen a few doctors in my time, but Dr Haas takes the gold medal for worst doctor ever. He was arrogant and lazy— the worst combination for any doctor. Saw me for my hip, disregarded anything I had to say about history and symptoms, gave me a shot without telling me he was going to, told me to lay down for 2 weeks (really? And not work or walk?🤦♀️), prescribed an anti inflammatory and left the room. Bursitis dx and refused an MRI (I’ve already had one hip replaced so I know hip pain in the joint when I feel it). Went in for the third time with Dr Hass for my knee pain. He gave me a shot on the 2nd visit and said if I wasn't feeling relief to come back for the follow up in one week but if I did I could cancel that appointment. I went in and was in worse pain than before. He sarcastically asked what percentage of relief did I have. Well it stopped paining me on one side but the other side of my knee is so painful I can't even walk. So he said 50% and that was good enough for him. I went in to see Dr Hass to have my total knee replacement checked and my other knee that is failing now discussed and treated. He didn't really listen. Just enough to get me in and out as quick as possible. I left there hoping the Cortizone would work again but not knowing a thing more about what to expect or what else the future holds or the options. Wasted my time, offered no solutions and implied that I wanted narcotics when I said I can’t take NSAIDs with gastritis. Not everyone is seeking pills. Treats young patients like junkies.
