Joe is an awesome dude to work with!! He works up to code for seawall and dock installation and repairs across the south Florida coast through Broward county. Offers dock building and seawall contracting services for Pompano Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Lighthouse Point, and all of the surrounding towns too. Great guy who takes pride in what he does — hit up Joe for all your dock and seawall needs!
The initial deposit $5000 for permitting and engineering services was provided in June 2023 when the contract was signed. I asked about the trees and bushes along the seawall and he said that they would have to go. I asked about the Lychee tree about 15 feet from the seawall and he said that they would probably be able to work around it but would let me know. One month later I had everything along the seawall removed and received a quote to remove the Lychee tree for $450. In October I asked Joe about the permit, he said it ... read more
I highly recommend Joe Harper, his Accommodating demeanor through the entire process was a breath of fresh air...weaving through the maze that the cities put you through can be extremely frustrating. Joe and Monique made our experience one of the most pleasant we have had in dealing with contractors I highly recommend his company for all your marine contracting projects...
Joe is a great guy to work with. He is honest and will get the job done as expected. His pricing is very fair and I even thought it was way to cheap but once I saw the finished deck, I was super happy. Definitely recommend calling Joe at South Florida Docks first.
