Unfortunately, Dr. Kini did not properly examine my daughter’s eye and showed very little care or attention toward the patient. The consultation felt rushed and dismissive. There are many other specialists who are far more thorough and genuinely caring. Based on our experience, I do not recommend Dr. Kini at all. We had an appointment at 1:30 pm and arrived 15 minutes early, yet we were kept waiting for over 45 minutes to an hour. The wait was extremely long and not worth it. I do not recommend this clinic to anybody.
I am a returning patient of this practice for over a decade and I will continue returning for as long as I can foresee. The care, concern and consistently high quality professionalism I have experienced from everyone involved, reception to optometry and the surgeons, has been exceptional. Thank you for looking after my vision.
I’m writing this because my family has had extremely concerning and honestly unacceptable experiences with this clinic. A few years ago, my mother-in-law was examined by one of the eye doctors here and was told she urgently needed surgery to remove a so-called “cancerous mole.” We paid thousands for that procedure, only to later learn from a real specialist that the mole was not cancerous at all ,she was born with it and it never needed removal in the first place. Superb care from the most professional eye specialists in a practice that is the benchmark. I had two cataract surgeries and the outcomes were just perfect. Fabulous care and thoroughness at all time from Dr Vini Kumar. Highly recommended. I gave 5 stars but the review posted only 4 stars ?? Don't know why!! A couple of very negative recent reviews that from my experience recently that are so far from the truth. Avoid these folks at all costs. There are far better eye specialists around the corner. Ones who treat their patients (and their associated carers) with dignity and respect. This outfit consistently is late to offer service way beyond appointment time. The reception staff are volatile.. some have been great yet my mother who has been attending for in excess of twenty years also encounters rude dismissive interactions with the admin staff.
