Not happy still have not been paid field tricked
I have always had a good experience at the One Blood location on West Lumsden Road in Brandon. The staff is very friendly, compassionate and attentive.
My Dr wrote a prescription for blood donation and has had to rewrite several different times because different people have put it in the computer wrong. Never seen such an issue just to give blood. The staff is very friendly except for a guy named Jake that thinks he is smarter then the Drs. who write the prescriptions. Every time he is there and I go to give blood there is something that the Dr did not write proper on the prescription. Get rid of him and the problem will go away
Such a great experience donating blood today! Ms. Shay was amazing. So kind, gentle and professional. I would absolutely recommend this facility to anyone wanting to donate blood. Ms. Shay, I hope I see you next time.
Not helpful people
I just hit the donation mark of 54 gallons of CMV Negative platelets; and was thrilled that the staff congratulated me! All of them welcome me with a smile every time I walk in, and I enjoy how they make my comfort a priority. I walk out the door sming after each plasma donation. I it's a great place to be, every two weeks!!!
Customer Service at this organization is horrible! It's 12/4 and my rewards froma donation on 11/29 are not showing up on my portal. When I try to "chat" it says representatives are not available. Their system doesn't let you get in a queue for that. It will pop up when someone is available, but if you're not quick enough your chance disappears. I did manage to get to someone on three different days. They each said they would have to contact IT, but that hasn't helped yet, so I though I'd try calling. I wait on hold 18 minut... read more

This has GOT to be one of the worst organizational nightmares I have ever encountered. I attempted to give blood two weeks ago yet was 'denied' by OneBlood. I called up to find out why and was given a return call today. The reason? OneBlood states I had written in my assessment that I had travelled to the United Kingdom back in 2005 and therefore had been ineligible to give blood until just a couple days ago. I informed them I had NEVER been to the United Kingdom and their response was to ask me whether I had been to Europe.... read more
