Just went to see the apartment that my daughter was renting. I pointed out---in a very polite manner ( I have witnesses) that there was scrape marks on baseboards and door frames, dirt all over ceiling fan and light fixtures. I very politely asked if this would be cleaned before they moved in because they paid a 200.00 cleaning fee. I also asked about the bug and rodent problem mentioned on here. I would not recomend these apartments to anyone. The apartments are overpriced. The price of a one bedroom furnished is more that a \$200,000 monthly mortgage. They smell like cigarette buts, no matter what you do you cant get the smell out of the apartment. They give out violations for some people and then let others put satelite dishes on the balcony. The office staff is very rude. If they would only think for a minute, if it werent for the tenants they wouldnt have a job. People play music loud late at night and hard for ... read more
The apartments are nice, but I feel that they are personally overpriced for Houma (The rent for my 2 bedroom apartment in Houma is equivalent to my 2 bedroom apartment in Tampa). But by far the most negative aspect of this community is the office staff. They are absolutely obnoxious! Safety has also become an issue recently. There have been several incidents of burgulary and car vandilism in the "gated" complex, which dont let them sell you on the "gated" amenity, because the gate never works! The complex looks "luxurious" as they advertise around as "Houmas most luxurious apartments" and have staff going out of their way to be nice to you. Maybe it is if you think "luxurious" means after signing a contract: your bathtub has a 2 inch hole in it (because they wont let you see your actual apartment till move in day), it takes 9 months to fix the bathtub, your apartment smells like rodents have been living there for 6 months, silverfish & spider infestation, huge rats in the parking lot, constant loud non-resident pa... read more
expensive for nothing....... our apt smells like animals and we paid a 200 dollar cleaning fee for a clean and repaint. That has not been done. RUDE office staff. PARTIES all the time you cant sleep on a weeknight sometimes due parties around your place. FIND SOME WHERE ELSE..not worth it at all.
If you have the money to spend here, take it elsewhere. Its not worth it. For something so pretty on the outside,and forr such a high price, it holds some ugly not-so-hidden secrets. Where to begin!
