Consumers beware.... this shop ripped us off. Dropped off our edger to get repaired was told $99 plus tax to repair. Got called that it was ready 2 weeks ago, went to pick up and it was not fixed. Waited 2 weeks and no resolution. Kept being told waiting for parts. Called them today to tell them we are coming to pick up whether fixed or not. They then refused to give us our edger until we paid $143. This is pure dishonest and bad business! Be careful when you take your mowers/lawn equipment to get oil changed or blades sharp... read more

Took my mower in to get a new blade a very simple fix. The salesperson told me i had to leave it .I told him all i wanted was a new blade which all he had to do was get his power tool take the bolt off replace the blade. it would have been only a 5 minute job pay for blade charge me maybe 5 to 10 dollars to put on but no he wanted to charge me a shop charge of 40 dollars in addition to the cost of the blade.Needless to say i wont be taking my mower there anymore. I dropped off a Ryobi blower at South County who is an authorized Ryobi repair center. I was told they would text when the item was repaired. I said I was in no hurry for the item. After 4 weeks I called just to get an update. I was told the manufacturer would replace the item and it would be mailed. Two weeks later I did receive a text saying my item was repaired. Blower works great. While their shop may not handle calls regarding an update on your repair; they did get it repaired, provided a new battery and I appreciate th... read more

Beware for this Company! This South County Small Engine Repairs was selected since it provides warranty coverage on the Ryobi. In April, we sent our lawnmower, charger, and two batteries in for repairs. Every time we called, they kept getting the same response “It will be ready next week”. After three months, we call the manufacturer warranty center and they became involved. They too found this company unresponsive to the simple questions.
