I always come to South City Star Smog Test Only for my smog checks, and they’ve been super reliable every time. There’s enough parking to temporarily leave your car, and the small waiting area gets the job done. No need to make an appointment — you can just walk in. I’ve always been able to get service right away without waiting. The service is fast, friendly, and efficient. The whole process takes about 15 minutes or less. My last smog test cost $80. Definitely recommend if you want a quick and hassle-free experience!

I needed a non-Star smog test, so I was in and out quickly. The staff knows how to handle these tests very quickly, so you don't have to worry about waiting forever. If you do need a Star smog test, these take longer because the vehicle needs to have smog levels measured while running at set speeds on rollers. I watched them do a Star test on old Jeep Cherokee XJ, and they do them correctly here with no cheating.
