Taylor, this is not an example of the type service you should have been given regardless of your attire or age. We opened the Publick House to be a fun casual atmosphere with good food for people of all ages. This was a case of your service staff falling short. Thank you for taking the time to let us know. Great food....if you actually get your order right. I emailed the owner and explained that everytime I go there they do not get the order right. To their credit, they offered 4 free meals. I declined the meals as I like this restaurant and want to support it. I gave it a few months and went back. Again, they messed up my order. This restaurant has good food, but only eat it if you dine in I guess.
Went here for a work meeting thru the Chamber Of Commerce. I'll tell you what it was a very comfortable, clean and home like atmosphere. The owners were walking up to everyone greeting them and they were very nice people. Lastly the food samplers were out of this world and i will be back with my family to enjoy a meal. 5 stars and tons of thumbs up!
Our party of 8 arrived Friday night around 8. Yes it was busy, yes a band was setting up however letting us stand there 15 minutes waiting for a table of 4 to leave was unacceptable! One in our party finally left so there was 7 to seat. Still waiting..looking like fools standing there. Manager? Would not let us push a round and square table together so we would have ample room, instead cramming 7 of us at a round table made to seat 4 or 5! I don't care how cheap, or good the food is there.
