Quit participating in civil asset forfeiture. We have this thing called due process. It's in the Constitution...twice. Civil asset forfeiture circumvents the belief that one is innocent until proven guilty. Civil asset forfeiture is theft, and I believe you only participate in the process to turn a profit, not to protect us.

I cannot appreciate a justice system that not only let's the murdered of my daddy and my uncle continue being free for 15 years. When they use their position in law enforcement to not only protect the killers but lock me up on a misdemeanor charge every time I try to tell them what happen.. They are beyond disgrace and moral standards for our so called JUSTICE system..no investigation has ever been conducted but they know it didn't happen because the killers are their friends and family..Law enforcement in SC including SLED ... read more

Many thanks to the Greenwood Sheriff dept. My motorcycle was stolen while visiting. Within three days it was returned to me. After a few repairs , I was once again riding. Great work. I appreciate everyone's help.
I think this is a good way to get people to see exactly what it means to have a good sheriffs department that has your back. Law enforcement officers have to endure a lot of abuse from so called upright citizens and they have to keep their cool which is hard to do at times. They have to set an example to the people they have sworn to protect at pay scales a lot of people would sneer at. A dedicated law officer is a treasure to the community and should be accorded the respect that is due him. W,Charles Chastain
