A waste of energy and effort to call this organization. They only take BIG cases. I was told I had a case but it wasn’t worth it to the attorney. He was very pushy for his $50. The call didn’t last 4 minutes. They shouldn’t charge if they don’t take the case. Why even call if you aren’t paralyzed for help!?
I was referred to the South Carolina Lawyer Referral Service for a FDCPA/FCRA billing matter that had already been reviewed by another attorney outside of the state, who saw merit in the case but was not licensed here. When I called the referral line, I was connected with an attorney who made it clear he only takes on what he called “BIG” cases.
