I have banked with another credit union for years, who doesn't charge fees when you have a substantial amount of money in your savings backing up your checking account. SC Federal CU, on the other hand, is acting more and more like a big bank. They want to charge you any fees they can slide in there. I have plenty of money in my savings. However, when the money transfers from savings to checking through the automative system, SC Fed charges you an "overdraft fee" (its your OWN money).
