Best school your child AND you could ever be involved with. My son is graduation Kindergarten tomorrow and the things they have taught him are absolutely amazing. He was on a first grade reading level mid way through the year, reading chapter books to me, and started out the year in first grade math and I'll tell you, he made straight A's all year! The school and the people that make it operate daily, have a passion and one of them I'm blessed enough to say is my son!
My son started Kindergarten at a public school, worst mistake I ever made for him! First grade I enrolled him on the Charter school, he is thriving and loves learning. The public school teacher was all about the cookie cutter curriculum, and not trying to work with him. He is ADHD/ODD and needs help. Southport Charter School is a God send!!!!! Mrs. Lydia Hall and all his other teachers are totally awesome!! My son looks forward to going everyday and learning something new. I highly recommend sending all children here!!!!!!!
Terrific school. My granddaughters are so happy there.
