I joined United Healthcare this year and was assigned Dr. Tilles. I was excited to have a 5-star doctor for my new plan. I called the doctor's office only to find that he is not taking new patients at all for general practitioner services; instead, he is taking new patients for his nephrology specialty. The office person said ha ha, we haven't updated our website or United Health Network yet. My youngest brother Dennis Reeder is being treated by Dr. Steven Tilles. I believe that Dr. Tilles saved my brother’s life. I will always be grateful to Dr. Tilles for aggressively treating Dennis and bringing him back from near death, after he was experiencing kidney failure. Steven Tilles is an excellent doctor. He cares for all his patients. I have been seeing him for years, and would not want to see any other doctor. My husband and I are very satisfied with his diagnosis, treatment and advice. I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good doctor.
Was my primary care physician but when I tried to make an appointment I'd been told he'd left my network and they didn't bother to tell me I no longer had a doctor. Left in the cold on the curb. People in the office were discriminating and mean. Bad office people. Healthcare in America is broken because the doctors/insurance networks are choosing their patients instead of making it possible for patients to get care, but people seem to have no problem taking paychecks while not providing any care!
