Complete Care I have to agree with the previous poster as Animal 911 has an excellent staff and provides a much needed service. They are always available, even at times when no one else is. They are experienced and provide great care. PROS: after hours care CONS:
Best animal hospital I've ever been to My dog was bitten by two dogs twice her size and I was completely scared, nervous, and worried about where to take her. I really didn't have time to think so I went to a place my friend recommended. I got there and the door was held wide open, the nurses took Mandy immediately to a room to check out how bad everything was and for vitals and such. It wasn't long before we were told to sit in the Dr.'s office. Well, in walks a young blonde Dr. with girlish pigtails to tell us everything t... read more
Emergency Animal Care They have been there for many holiday and weekend emergencies with my pets. They have saved a bird with head trauma, restitched an open wound on a dog and xrayed for breaks. Wait can be long but there really is no where else to go under these circumstances. All animals must be out by morning.Staff is qualified and professional. PROS: Qualified staff CONS: Wait time
Sick dog, lousy service I realize this is a critical care facility but it needs to be managed better. Our dog had an injured eye and our vet stressed that he get immediate care or risk permanent damage or worse. We went to Animal 911 and then proceeded to wait nearly 90 minutes (or more) while the vets took care of other pets in need of emergency care. I appreciate the pressure they are under. What I did not appreciate was the total lack of communication on the part of the woman at the front desk, who did not inform us of th... read more
Hope is the best! My cat, Lex, and I have been traveling to Malvern for a year and a half because of his chronic illness. I was very upset when we first arrived, but the reception staff was very caring and took care of me as I waited for what I thought would be the worst news. When I met Dr. Laurie Prober and her nurses, Katie and Tammy, I knew we were in the right place for Lex. Dr. Prober is an excellent specialist, and Lex is with us now because of her knowledge and expertise. The medical care at Hope is the best, but tha... read more
KILL BELOVED PETS FOR MONEY This clinic should NOT be in business. My family brought my cat to this vet because it was our only resort for a blood transfusion that she needed. Not only was the veterinarian Allison Maddox un knowledgeable of any of our questions and defensive when we asked them, she was rude and heartless. As we accepted to pay a ridiculous overcharge to bring our family cat back to health and said our goodbyes before the procedure, five minutes later they called to bluntly tell us our lifelong pet had died a... read more
Go to Woodstock Emergency Vet instead!! I had to bring my cat in at around midnight because he was in pain and very stiff when I tried to pick him up. He had struggled in the litter box three times prior to that so I assumed something was wrong with his being able to go to the bathroom. I could hear him howling in the back room at the vet so I felt terrible. The Vet came into the room where I was waiting and told me he was fat and that he needed to lose weight. She then drew a picture of a cat peeing and a cat pooping and as... read more
Excellent Care I've dealt with this facility both on the phone and in person. In both cases they provided excellent care for the animals and helped to calm their humans. I had a lab mix that was doing poorly suddenly. We brought her in because it was after hours at her regular vet. They took us right away. It turned out she was having internal bleeding. They kept her overnight to do tests to find out what was causing it. It was a tumor that they could do nothing about, but due to their care, her life was extended for 3 month... read more
