Sounds Unique Inc in Hillsboro is hands down one of the best car audio and custom installation shops in the area. Kenny is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and takes the time to explain every option so you get exactly what you want. He’s done multiple jobs for my work van and has continued to give sound advice whenever I need anything. You see the reviews! Don't hesitate to call him, this is the only car audio place in the Portland Metro I’d go to.
Called and helped me for free over the phone cartoys was unwilling
I was having issues with a subwoofer install and called in to see if they could help me out. I assume I spoke with the owner who ran me through a bunch of different checks to try. Finally we came to the conclusion that I’d have a bad RCA cable. I tried to come in to buy one from him but he just told me to pick one up online. I would 100% recommend going here. A lot of the shops around us are scammy, but these guys are very trustworthy and absolute professionals.
I had read reviews on Google and Yelp for Sounds Unique, Inc. and decided to contact the business based on the high ratings. I am not disappointed in this decision. I called and was able to speak to the owner, Kenny, and booked a time to take my car in for a dash cam installation. Kenny was very personable, professional, and flexible with my schedule. Great customer experience beginning to end! Ken knows his business and his expertise shows. He was very detailed and explained everything in a way that made perfect sense. He's extremely knowledgeable about best practices within the car audio/video/security installation field--and the not-so-good practices as well. His pricing is very fair and he will only charge you for what you need. He won my return business and I’m happy to strongly recommend him to anyone in the market for his services!
