Our 6 year old has had a significant speech delay since she was a toddler. We needed supplemental speech therapy over the summer to get her closer to her peers for her kindergarten year. Katia really connected well with our daughter and she made some significant improvements that were noticed by our school year speech therapist. A huge benefit was that Katia traveled to the daycare to meet with her weekly and she was very flexible to workaround field trips so our daughter wouldn't missnout on anything. We highly recommend!!
Absolutely love Ms. Katia with Sounds & Smiles! We were previously with another speech therapist provider and were abruptly dropped as a patient with them, scrambling to continue speech therapy services, Sounds & Smiles was recommended to us by our son's teacher and other families who go to Sounds & Smiles. Katia was awesome to work with. Our child really connected with her and enjoyed the time together. We also saw significant improvement in the time that they spent together.
After years trying to get help for our son, and many specialists and avaliations, we pretty much had given up and were skeptical about who would help our kid. After some research online *we found out about Katia and decided to give a shot at teletherapy. What a game changer! She is so nice to our son, she cares and stays on top of things. She's very dynamic and the results are very clear, and the most important is the trust built. We just wish we had found her sooner.
My son had the absolute best time with Katia. I couldn't recommend a better educator! My son loved going to "see Katia" when she was at Jones Regional. I think he looked at it more of a play date than learning. She had the best learning ideas for him. I truly believe if it wasn't for Katia my son wouldn't have learned to talk so fast and well.
