Absolutely despicable how Marantz treated Ken Ishiwata.
DO NOT BUY DENON OR MARANTZ PRODUCTS AS THEY ARE DESIGNED TO STOP WORKING SOON AFTER THE WARRANTY IS OVER! For example, I bought a new Denon AVR-x4500h a little over 3 years ago and it is currently stuck in protection mode and at the shop to see if its worth being repaired or even if it can be!? I bought expensive equipment from Sound United that was delivered with flaws. There is no support whatsoever, neither any intention to solve the flaws in the newly delivered equipment. Seems this company's delivery ability is extremely challenged.
The company is no longer providing firmware downloads for older models so this makes it very easy for customers systems to be compromised by malware from third party sites listing fake firmware
