Charles did an incredible job installing new hardwood floors in the home we purchased, and even made it work on our tighter timeline. Everything came out beautifully! We also appreciated frequent communication before and during the job, help in discerning the right wood and finish, and honest pricing. I would highly recommend Sound Hardwood Floors for any job.
(12/2025) I recently removed the wall-to-wall carpet in my living room and had it replaced with a hardwood floor (with inlay) by Sound Hardwood Floors, and I highly recommend them. Richard and Charles were great, and it was probably one of the smoothest remodeling projects I've ever had done. Local father-and-son company! We’ve worked with Richard and Charles twice now, and both times they’ve done an amazing job on our hardwood floors. They’re excellent with both repairs and new installations (see photos). Highly recommend them to anyone in need of hardwood flooring work.
Our hardwood floors look AMAZING! I cannot say enough about the hard work and craftmanship by Charles and his crew. Everything went exactly how they said it would. We will definitely use them again for the rest of our house and have referred them to many other families looking for reputable, hardworking locally grown company!
