My son, who has a documented cognitive disability and receives full SSA/SSI disability benefits, was a patient here around 2015. I had a very unsettling experience at Sound’s Northgate location and would not recommend it based on my visit. The overall environment felt disorganized and, at times, unprofessional. After consuming food provided on-site, I became extremely unwell and disoriented, which was alarming and not handled in a reassuring way by staff. This place is very calm and comforting. B u t! If your issue cannot be solved in 1 week to a month, don't bother going here. They always put you off because theres such a large influx of people they have to set you and your needs aside if you aren't in chrisis. This means if you suffer from c-ptsd, ptsd, depression, anxiety, things that you aren't able to pill the problem away, they will put your needs on pause. I'm doing everything in my power (which isn't much ) to make it there tomorrow (Thurs) for an intake to get Chris M back, cause he's the best psych I ever had.
