Service is slow as molasses. Expect 30 + wait on an empty resturant. Even called in an advance order 25 mins before and had to wait another 15 when I got there and only 2 tables
My favorite place to eat great vegan soul food, i would highly recommend you try it . You definitely won't be disappointed.
I tried to dine in, but unfortunately the restaurant was extremely stuffy and hot maybe the A/C was out. There appeared to be only one server, and she was busy with another customer, so I sat myself and patiently looked over the menu while I waited. About 15 minutes later, two other patrons walked in and also seated themselves. Food is always great. Service is great. It is also slow. Like over an hour wait. Luckily I had no where to be fast. Parking is shared with another lot. Nothing that they can do about that. Just noting. It can be challenging.
I had the vegan country baked steak, mac’ n cheese, sweet potatoes, corn bread, and potato salad. Did not have any gravy on the steak. The mac’ n cheese had a weird taste to me, which is hard to describe. Everything else was great, though. I ordered online for takeout.
