We are from Indianapolis and chose Sotto based on the great online reviews. Sotto has a very elegant atmosphere. Our server, Aaron, was very attentive and explained the menu well. We chose one course from each section of the menu. We especially loved the goat cheese and hazelnut honey bruschetta, but everything was wonderful. Aaron went out of his way to make sure we had a great evening celebrating our anniversary. He was the best server we have had in a long time. The rest of the staff was great, too. Thank you, Sotto!
It begins with the steps down from the street, to what you believe will be a dungeon of of a space. The walk from the eerie portico, into a space of dark woods and candle light excites the visual sensibilities, while the aroma from the stationed kitchen, that stretches the expanse of the back wall, brings a soon fufilled hope of culinary delight. Everything was impeccable, especially our server, Patrick. We will return again and again.
Food was very good but I think it is over priced for very small portions. It was a $60 tab without drinks and I had to get something else to eat elsewhere before the concert.
I have been to Sotto several times and it never dissapoints! Food is delicious, reasonable and sharable if you choose to go that route. Servers are always personal and make great reccomendations when you can't decide or are having too much fun to bother ordering.
What an awesome place! The restaurant is absolutely stunning. The food was some of the most delicious Italian food I've had and I've eaten many times in Rome, Italy. Our server had a great personality and knew his stuff inside and out. We will definitely be going back often. One of Cincinnati's best hidden Gem's!
My husband brought me here for my birthday dinner. What an incredible atmosphere! Sotto is so elegant; it is definitely the perfect place for a date. The food and service was outstanding. Try the donuts (they are out of this world!).
