We found this place randomly on Google Maps and so glad we rolled the dice. It’s insanely good and the owner and head chef Ton, were the nicest amazing people. The food is so good, we licked the plates. We got the Hamachi carpaccio, the spicy gyudon and some hand rolls. Everything was amazing, and we will be back very soon! Thank you so much for a great dinner!
I feel like this is Austin’s best undiscovered Japanese restaurant. Everything from the hamachi to the side of wasabi was 10/10 quality, it reminded me of amazing meals I’ve had in Japan. The sushi is amazing, the carpaccio is a must order and the gyudon bowls are insanely good. I also recommend sitting at the bar, you may get to meet the chef, Ton and his wife!
Great hand rolls, the hamachi toro. The real star was the spicy aburi brisket. It was well flavored and just spicy enough.
