We hired these guys to install a new central AC unit. From the day it was installed we had problems with the coils freezing over and the unit shutting off. We had them out 9x over two summers, they’d say it was ‘fixed’ but next heat wave it would die again. Finally got AJ Perri out to assess and lo and behold turns out multiple parts of the unit wasn’t installed properly. They wouldn’t fix the work or refund it and we had to file a claim with the better business bureau. Don’t pay these guys a dime - it will cost you $$$$!!!
Installed our have system in 2023. System shut down nine times in two years (freezing). SOS came out and swore nothing was wrong, no leaks, etc etc. Finally paid for second opinion. Not only did they identify low pressure and then a leak writhing first fifteen minutes, it turns out the system was installed improperly, the furnace coils were never leveled, so condensate was constantly leaking in and freezing. Rob and John did their best to help us feel comfortable in our repairs, but also went out of their way to help educate us on best practices, to get the most life out of our furnace and radiators. They've been out a few times to do maintenance for us, this is our second year using them. Highly recommended, straight forward, and honest.
I had a very old Oil Burner that broke beyond repair. I contacted SS work services through Angi’s list. Rob Called me right away. He came, inspected ordered the parts needed. Five days later three of his workers spent up to 20 hours in 3 days, removing my old burner and constructing a new one. They explained the steps I had to take in maintaining it. They were very efficient and I tipped them also. Today I had my inspection from the town and Both inspectors said when they saw my new furnace said that they did a great job. SO... read more
