Well it finally happened!! After 4 years of traveling to Savannah for the New Year we had a bad experience at Sorry Charlie’s. It’s sad actually. We dropped by for our second visit this week and ordered 2 dozen house oysters. As we waited 20 minutes my GF wanted to order some garlic clams.. 10 minutes later we were told they were out of clams, but they could use mussels instead. OUTSTANDING! 18 oysters (3 each of 6 different kinds), the low boil with crab leg clusters, a desert......I'm DONE! WOW!
But the shellfish selection was disappointing!
Perfect venue, great staff, excellent food. Must stop while enjoying Savanna!
