We had the worst experience living in Sorrento apartments (over 5 years). Homeless people would frequently try to enter our ground floor apartment, shooting up in the laundry room, broke into our vehicle, stole clothes out of the laundry room, or trying to talk to my child by offering them a free ipad. The laundry room is always a mess and disgusting, they charge you $4 a load for washers and dryers that don't clean your clothes/burn them. I understand the policy, but not the safety concern as I put the patio screen up for safety When I spoke to the community manager, I expressed my concern for the safety of my family, with examples, and was simply brushed off and told it was corporate policy. As far as consistency, I see other residents use their patio to store bikes, cleaning supplies and laundry, and another residents patio covered by state flags instead a screen, apparently this is different than a scre... read more
Forced to take innocuous down patio screen that allows use of patio. In the last 3 weeks there was homeless sleeping directly outside the apartment underneath patio and the police were called twice, once for a domestic violence situation that happened directly underneath our patio. Loud parties take place all the time directly underneath apartment due to its location and my girlfriend has been harassed multiple times while trying to use patio. At what point am did the security deposit not hold the unit? It’s flat out greedy to want $605 just to apply. The admin fee is to process the application then what is the application fee for? Must be to just put your info on a sheet of paper.
Nice, quiet, comfortable considering it is a studio apartment, I could live here.
