Loved going here for awhile. Last time I ordered the amount of food I got was pitiful for the price. 16 dollars for this much guobaorou? Pretty disappointing. Don't order here unless you like eating someone else's leftovers for $80.
The concept is really cool — you grab a bowl, pick your own ingredients from a huge variety of meats, veggies, noodles, and even seafood, then choose your spice level and they cook it all into a perfectly balanced, flavorful broth.

Food Safety Alert!!! I’ve been a regular customer here for a long time, but this time was really disappointing — and honestly, scary. I found two long pieces of steel wool in my malatang. That’s a serious food safety issue and could have been dangerous. I forgot taking photos of the steel wool since I was so angry at that moment.
