I'm just glad i got out of there. I spent a year and a half there and I cant say it was horrible. But it could have been worse.

I went to sorensons ranch I was there for 4 years when I got there it seemed like a pretty neat place but as I stayed there longer thier true colors started showing school was ok but to be honest I never learned anything and teachers weren’t very much help but two of them in thier vid they talked about us always being busy and they are coroner never got time to ourselves to breath unless we got in trouble then we spent early morning to before bedtime cleaning stalls or walking back and forth multiple times with not enough wa... read more

I need to say something directly to the mothers and fathers who keep writing reviews like “ this helped my kid so much”. Full Stop- Stop pretending these programs helped your kids when all they really did was retraumatize them. I went to Sorenson Ranch. You talk about how it “changed your life.” Yeah, it changed mine too, but not the way you think. Both of my children were adopted out of foster care and suffered early childhood trauma. This led to complicated attachment problems. My daughter in particular was at five different Residential programs prior to going to Sorenson Ranch. This program was by far the best program she attended. The Therapist and staff are very compassionate, and understand the complexities of attachment disorders.
